Konigsplatz
The site of the old Nazi Party headquarters and a rally site flanked by the Fuhrerbau.

Odeonsplatz
This central square is flanked by the Feldherrnhalle and was the scene of a confrontation between the Bavarian State Police and an illegally-organised march by Hitler’s followers.

Obersalzberg
The location of Adolf Hitler’s beloved mountain residence, the Berghof, and the bus depot which transports tourists to the nearby Kehlsteinhaus, also known as the Eagle’s Nest.

Dachau
A Nazi German concentration camp, the first to open in Germany.

Itinerary Example
Munich by air 4 day tour
DAY 1: Fly from the UK to Munich with transfer to your accommodation. Possible time for sightseeing on arrival subject to flight schedule.
DAY 2: Depart your accommodation after breakfast for a four hour guided walking tour of the city. Further visits during the afternoon.
DAY 3: Full day sightseeing in the city. Possible visits could include one of the many museums (admissions not included).
DAY 4: Possible time for further sightseeing subject to flight schedule. Coach transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
6 day tour combined with Nuremberg
DAY 1: Travel from school to channel coast for crossing to Calais or Dunkirk. Continue your journey overnight to Munich.
DAY 2: Arrive Munich in the late morning and go straight to your accommodation. Lunch included on arrival. Coach is not available for remainder of the day. Afternoon guided walking tour of central Munich (included in tour cost).
DAY 3: Full day excursion with the free use of your coach.
DAY 4: Morning visit to Dachau by coach. Continue to Nuremberg for afternoon sightseeing. Overnight in Nuremberg.
DAY 5: (No coach during the day – driver’s rest). A morning guided walking tour of Nuremberg. Afternoon free for sightseeing and shopping. Evening meal included before overnight drive to Calais or Dunkirk.
DAY 6: Morning arrival back in the UK and return drive to school
