MEET THE TEAM

Jo Allum - School Tours Consultant
Jo has been part of the Galloway team for over 13 years and has built up extensive knowledge through a variety of roles within the business. In her current role as School Tours Consultant, she works behind the scenes supporting schools and guiding the team through the planning process, while also overseeing compliance and Health & Safety for school tours.
Jo particularly enjoys working with the people at Galloway — from the close-knit internal team and dedicated drivers to the schools and long-standing suppliers. She is proud of Galloway’s strong reputation within the school tours market and the passion shown by everyone involved in delivering each trip.
Her favourite Galloway trips are the Battlefields tours in Belgium and France, where she has developed a deep appreciation for the history, landscapes, and people who preserve these important stories. One of Jo’s proudest moments was planning and accompanying the first school tour back to Belgium after Covid, marking a major milestone for the team and the schools involved.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and getting outdoors with her labrador, Fern.
She describes Galloway as Passionate, Dedicated, and Resilient.
Lisa has been part of Galloway’s accounts team for nine years and now works as Finance Manager, supporting trip leaders and helping ensure school tours are organised and delivered smoothly. Alongside overseeing financial processes, she plays a key role in coordinating trips from planning through to completion.
She finds it especially rewarding to help organise visits to meaningful destinations that support students’ learning — something she relates to from her own positive school trip experiences. Her favourite tours are the Battlefields and Germany, reflecting a long-standing interest in war history that began during her GCSE and A-Level studies.
Lisa believes what truly sets Galloway apart is its drivers, who are at the heart of the customer experience and consistently go above and beyond for every group. A proud moment for her was being part of the first educational trip to return to Flanders after Covid.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, visiting her sons, and walking her dog, Chester.
Lisa describes Galloway as Trusted, Personal, and Experienced.

Melina Nwogwugwu - School Sales Co-ordinator
Melina joined Galloway in August 2025 as Schools Sales Coordinator, managing school trips from the initial enquiry right through to the final document pack. Her role covers everything from preparing proposals and booking suppliers to building itineraries, updating systems, and liaising with teachers — ensuring each trip is carefully organised and delivered to a high standard.
She enjoys the variety her role brings, with no two days ever the same. From detailed planning to supporting teachers with last-minute changes, Melina thrives on staying organised and making sure every element comes together smoothly.
Melina particularly enjoys working on the Ypres & the Somme and Kraków & Auschwitz trips. These meaningful and educational experiences require attention to detail and care, making it especially rewarding to see them delivered successfully.
She believes what makes Galloway special is the genuine care shown towards schools and students, combined with a strong team spirit. Everyone works closely together with a shared goal of creating unforgettable educational experiences.
Outside of work, Melina loves adventure travel and exploring different cultures — even ticking off skydiving in Dubai. She also enjoys discovering sea art and sculpture during her travels.
In three words, Melina describes Galloway as Supportive, Dedicated, and Expert.
